Our PC or Yours!

Topics Internet Cafe is a business class Internet cafe.  We provide a comfortable working environment with ample room to work.  You can bring in your laptop and connect to our safe and secure "walled garden" wireless router.  A "walled garden" means your PC is individually firewalled and is not visible or accessible to other users on the network.  You can also connect to our Laser Printer for fast printing.  Try that at a coffee shop!  You cannot get a virus FROM our system but connecting to the Internet in any way still makes you vulnerable for infection FROM the Internet.

Use one of our business class PC’s for all of your computing needs.  Each PC is secured from infection between users by a specially installed program that re-images the PC.  Your on-line security is our first priority.  Each PC has OpenOffice installed so you can open, edit, and save documents, spreadsheets, publications and much, much more from the popular word processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, MS Excel, WordPerfect, et al).

Computer repair at the lowest cost.  At $75 per hour we are the lowest cost for repair.  We have a policy where there is no charge if we cannot fix the problem.  Also, even though it may take several hours (sometimes 10-15 hours) to fix an infected or corrupted operating system, we charge a max of 2 hours… Period!  DATA RECOVERY - 90% of the time we can recover your data from a corrupted operating system BEFORE it’s reloaded.  As long as the HDD is operational, we can recover from FAT, FAT32, NTFS, Reiser, and many other formats – both IDE and SATA.

Mr. Pierce has been in the computer industry for over 25 years, first as a mainframe programmer for fortune 500 companies and federal agencies spanning several industries.  Then as a systems analyst to eventually as a senior systems architect.  Mr. Pierce has had 3 federal security clearances over his career so he provides discreet and thorough computer services.

Mr. Pierce’s specialty was data migration (ETL), Pension Administration, HR, Benefits, and Payroll systems.
